As a mom, I often feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. I ask my kids to do something, and they totally ignore me. Ask nicely. Yell. It doesn't make a difference. When I get frustrated, I have to step back and think. Sometimes kids don't do things because they don't want to, sometimes because they don't know how, and sometimes because they are trying to push my buttons!
